Broad Bean

Broad bean is an annual plant with very large seeds, usually 8 per pod. This high-yielding variety has a very good flavour when eaten fresh or used in cooked dishes. The green pods contain vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Harvest while the pods are tender, juicy and stringless and the seeds are only just forming. Plant height: 90 cm. Germination takes 6–10 days. Sowing rate: 15–20 kg/decare.
