Tomato ‘Balkan F1’

An early semi-determinate hybrid that terminates naturally after 5–6 trusses. Suitable for polytunnels and early outdoor production. The fruits are round, smooth, very firm and weigh 100–120 g. Cultivation: staked at 80 × 40 cm, trained to one stem with 3–6 trusses, each bearing 6–8 flowers; or unstaked at 120–140 × 30 cm. Yield: 8–9 t/decare over 30–40 days. Seeds per 1 g: about 300. Minimum germination: 75%. Minimum varietal purity: 99%.
