The seeds are sown in the second half of March or the beginning of April, on level ground or in beds, at a depth of 2–3 cm, with a distance of 25–30 cm between the rows and 3–4 cm between the seeds. 1.5–2 kg of seeds are needed for 1 decare. Three weeks before harvesting, watering is stopped. The optimal period for harvesting is before the onset of sub-zero temperatures.
