A high-yielding, mid-early salad onion. The very large, elongated elliptical bulbs are purple. Their inner scales are crisp and juicy, with a pleasantly pungent, piquant flavour. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, grilling and cooking. Grow from transplants or by direct sowing.
