Description
A very early, exceptionally productive old Russian variety, ideal for regions with shorter summers. The lightly flattened fruit is bright yellow to orange and very attractive.
Unlike most sweet yellow varieties, Azoychka has a fresh, vivid flavour and balanced acidity with fine lemon-citrus notes, making it refreshing and well suited to light summer dishes.
Plant: Tall but more compact and easier to manage than other large-fruited varieties.
One gram contains approximately 300 seeds.
