Description

Winter Black forms a large leaf rosette and substantial roots 10–12 cm in diameter. Their skin is intensely black, while the flesh is white, firm and pungent. This productive variety stores very well through winter. The growing period is 80–90 days. The sowing rate is 800 g per decare, with an average yield of 5–6 t per decare. One gram contains approximately 100–120 seeds.
