Description

‘Trapezitsa’ is a low-growing, unstaked tomato variety for mid-early open-field production, fresh consumption and industrial processing. It is very productive and large-fruited. The round fruits have an intense red, smooth surface with no green shoulder, an average weight of 180–200 g, firm flesh and good resistance to cracking. Grow from transplants or by direct sowing, in single rows or double-row bands at 100 + 60 × 30 cm. The sowing rate through transplants is 30–40 g per decare; for direct sowing it is 100–150 g. The average yield is 6–7 t per decare. One gram contains approximately 280–300 seeds.
