Description
‘Delight’ F1 is a mid-early, indeterminate hybrid tomato for polytunnels and outdoor growing. The fruits are round, deep red, firm, dense and fleshy, with a very large average weight of 280–300 g and very good flavour reminiscent of ‘Ideal’. They are intended for fresh consumption and the fresh market. The variety is resistant to TmV, has field resistance to V and F, and is tolerant to Alternaria, Septoria and anthracnose. It is a high-yielding variety. Grow staked and trained to one stem with 5–6 trusses. The sowing rate is 15–20 g per decare, with an average yield of 10–12 t per decare. One gram contains approximately 280–300 seeds.
