Description

‘Opal BG’ F1 is an indeterminate hybrid tomato with vigorous, robust plants. The round fruits have no green shoulder and are smooth, firm and crack-resistant, with an average weight of 180–200 g and very good keeping quality. The variety withstands high temperatures, is resistant to TmV and F, and is highly tolerant to Alternaria. It is suitable for early and mid-early production in greenhouses and outdoors, for fresh consumption and export. Grow staked and trained to one stem with 4–5 trusses. The sowing rate is 15–20 g, with an average yield of 10–12 t per decare. One gram contains approximately 280–300 seeds.
