Description

One of the world’s most sought-after heirloom varieties, often described as the “perfect tomato”. Its large fruit has a distinctive dark-purple to mahogany colour with deep-green shoulders.

It offers an outstanding balance of sweetness and gentle smokiness. The dense, buttery texture leaves a rich, lingering flavour that has made the variety a benchmark for many tomato enthusiasts.

The seed is believed to have been passed down by the Cherokee people since before the 19th century.

Plant: Tall-growing (indeterminate), vigorous and productive.

Pack size: 35 zaden
