Tomato ‘Early Siberian’
Description
Introduced in 1959 by the West Siberian Vegetable Experimental Station and also known by the Russian name Sibirski Skorospel. It was bred to survive and crop reliably in Siberia’s short summers, cool nights and sharp temperature changes.
Its ability to set fruit at approximately 3°C makes it valuable in regions with short growing seasons.
The compact, bright-red fruit has sweet fleshy texture and balanced acidity, suited to fresh use, salads and preserving.
It ripens 48–60 days after transplanting, placing it among the earliest varieties available.
Pack size: 35 seeds (🌱 Enough for about 30 plants)
