Description

A biennial plant also known as leaf beet. It forms a strong, upright rosette with large, curled leaves rich in vitamins A and C, sugars and mineral salts. Use the leaves in salads, soups and purées, while the stalks can be eaten like asparagus. Its flavour compares well with spinach, while the plants are more drought resistant. The sowing rate is 1–1.5 kg per decare.

Pack size: 3 g.
